Barney The Sea Turtle Necklace
Meet Barney the sea turtle! When you are stuck in a tiny wooden rowing boat in the Atlantic and have seen nobody for months, you give anything a name and talk to it. Barney spent many days with me, diving under my boat to nibble weed off the hull, providing much-needed connection at a desperately lonely point in my 3300-mile journey.
I’ve had Barney immortalised as a necklace so I can keep him close to my heart every day and so I can hold him before I go on stage or into a client meeting. He’s my brain trigger, reminding me not to give in to my limiting beliefs. He reminds me that I rowed myself across that big ocean and so I get through this next challenge. We all need those reminders sometimes.
